Charleston Water Loss Homeowner Loves SERVPRO
When a line burst in a Charleston-area home and flooded the pine hardwood floor with water no one was home at the time. The water soaked into the tongue and groove joints and lifted several boards while slightly warping others. Luckily, the homeowner knew to call SERVPRO for emergency cleanup and water removal. We're Faster To Any Size Disaster and quickly vacuumed up the pooling water, placed a drying tent over the damaged flooring (no time to take pictures) and set up air movers and dehumidifiers. We slowly dried the wood so as not to splinter the boards, and restored a natural indoor relative humidity of about 55 percent. The After Photo explains why our customer loves SERVPRO, "Like it never even happened."
